Vermont Citizens X-C 5K Series

Burlington High School, Essex High School, and Thetford Academy race officials have teamed up to open their cross-country courses to the northern New England running community with a series of Citizens' Races minutes before Vermont's biggest high-school cross-country events.

Scheduled to allow participation by coaches and members of the families of competing high-school and middle-school athletes. High-school and middle-school races follows citizens races at 10:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.
Races organized and conducted by experienced race professionals, beginning on time and running smoothly.
Electronic results available minutes after the finish and posted online after the event.
Male and female results in the following age groups: 10-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70+.

All proceeds from the Vermont Citizens' Race Series support the running or trail programs at the Vermont schools that produce them.

August 16, 2003 -- Burlington High School Fun Run -- Burlington High School
September 13, 2003 -- Essex Invitational -- Catamount Family Center
October 4, 2003 -- Thetford Academy Woods Trail Run -- Thetford Academy. (The Vermont High School Championship is run on this course.)
October 18, 2003 -- Burlington Invitational -- Burlington High School

Registration Information

High-school and middle-school coaches FREE!
$10 per race per individual.
Fill in Registration Form and mail it in (but mail it at least a week before the event).
Register the day of the race up until 8:30 a.m.
Register online at Burlington High School's web site.
